Yosemite Sierra Hiker

Hike California's Renowned National Parks

Hike three of the nation's finest natural wonders--Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks. These treasured parks provide a stunning landscape of giant sequoia trees, tumbling waterfalls, alpine lakes, and granite peaks. You'll be in constant awe hiking amid this natural grandeur. In the evenings, we relax in historic inns enjoying sumptuous meals at the area's finest restaurants.

Days 1-3 Kings Canyon-Sequoia. From Fresno we shuttle to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. On our first hike we're treated with superb views into the depths of Redwood Canyon and the spectacular alpine peaks of the Great Western Divide. We next trek deep into the backcountry of Kings Canyon to Mist Falls, passing through old growth forest and by cascading streams. Our final hike here takes us through majestic stands of sequoia trees in Giant Forest and then via the High Sierra Trail to lush Crescent Meadow and, optionally, to Moro Rock.

Days 4-6 Yosemite. First we hike to Taft Point, which offers breathtaking views of El Capitan and the Yosemite Valley. The following day is spent on the little-known Panaorama Trail, with cascading waterfalls, granite monoliths and magnificent views of the valley below. On our final day you are free to explore in Yosemite Valley. You have the option to hike the many trails that dot the valley floor, horseback ride to Mirror Lake, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. Our trip concludes following a shuttle back to Fresno.
