Costa Rica Pacific Multisport Tour

Hike, Raft, Kayak, and Zipline through a Tropical Paradise

Explore wildlife-rich cloud forests, raft the Pacuare's exciting whitewater, mountain bike along a remote river canyon, experience cowboy culture in Guanacaste and snorkel the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Warm up in mineral-rich mud baths and hot springs and dry off in arid Rincon de la Vieja National Park.

Days 1-2: San Jose-Pacuare River

After arriving in San Jose in the afternoon, we shuttle the following morning to the lush lowlands to brave the rapid-filled waters of the world-class Pacuare River. Adventuresome beginners and experienced rafters alike will be in awe of the magnificent canyon found on this Class III-IV raft trip.

Days 3-4: Monteverde-Guanacaste

We walk through the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, laden with mosses, lichens, ferns, bromeliads and orchids!  The highlight of our stay is a thrilling zipline canopy tour above the treetops and across the beautiful canyons. We then transfer to the home of sabanero culture for a stay at a working cattle ranch.

Day 5: Rincon de la Vieja National Park

Today we hike amidst Rincon de la Vieja National Park's volcanic cauldrons and steaming fumaroles.  The park is home to collared peccaries, coatimundis, anteaters, agoutis, sloths and three species of monkeys. End the day with a soak in the thermal hot springs and mud baths near the hacienda.

Days 6-8: Tamarindo-Liberia

We arrive in Tamarindo, Costa Rica's most popular beach and resort town, in plenty of time to explore the mangrove forests by kayak.  the following day is free to relax by the pools and gardens of our lovely beachside resort, shop in town or enjoy a multitude of optional activities ranging from horseback riding to sport fishing, golf to ATV riding, snorkeling to scuba diving and even spa services.  We depart for the airport in Liberia the following morning.
